Key Habits for Academic Success

Are your students struggling?

Students need to feel their best so they can do their best. They’re up against a lot. Prioritizing mental health and well-being is usually the first thing to go. Small daily choices impact success, which is why teaching students how to develop habits that become a solid foundation for their well-being is key. Students struggle with consistency. Students feel overwhelmed and stressed. Our Key Habits Program will help them identify their needs and build habits with intention and impact.

Build key habits 🔑 with our four-step process.

  • #1. Take Stock of Your Habits

Students bring awareness to their daily choices by creating a personalized Habit Inventory to identify the impact of their current habits.

  • #2. Vision of Well-Being

Students consider all aspects of well-being in determining how they want to feel on a daily basis. They craft a vision statement to guide their daily choices.

  • #3. Manage Your Mind

Students learn a simple mindfulness technique to bring awareness to their self-talk and choose more empowering thoughts.

  • #4. Create a Key Habits Plan

Students determine their top-3 key habits and practice setting a weekly wellness goal based on key principles of habit formation.

I attended Lynn's workshop at the COE conference and was so impressed by the work she was doing with her students. Teaching our TRIO students to take care of themselves by practicing self-care and teaching them how to meditate was completely in line with the vision I had for my students. She created an amazing curriculum for them to follow and connected with them in a meaningful way. Lynn Curry's wellness programming has been a great addition to our SSS Program.
